Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona with decades of experience working with environmental organizations and Indigenous groups across the Americas particularly on climate change issues. I am the Director of the Climate Alliance Mapping Project as well as the Public Political Ecology Lab. The Lab provides a digital space for theoretically informed engaged scholarship, where political ecologists can communicate their research to broader publics through social media, blogs, videos, story-maps, and photo-essays. It also supports the research needs of NGOs and social movements, and provides pedagogical resources to scholars and students. CAMP is one of the Lab’s most recent projects.
